Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience to do the kits? +

Experience is helpful, but you don't need to be an expert. If you're unsure about where you stand, just email us at support@shortcct.com. We will evaluate your experience and offer you guidance based on that.

Will these projects help me land an internship? +

Yes. Short Circuit projects are specifically designed to offer an experience and accreditation targeting in-demand skills across different disciplines. Putting your project experience on your resume can give you a boost as you apply for internships.

What happens if I get stuck during my project? +

Our programs include virtual support for 3 months after project delivery. Send us a description of your problem, and if it can't be solved over email, we'll book a one-on-one call to troubleshoot it with you.

How long does each project take? +

Most of our projects take about 30-50 hours total to complete. This can take between 2 and 5 weeks depending on the amount of time you can commit.

Do I get a certificate or recognition? +

Yes, students earn certificates for completing the projects and can compete in the design challenge for special recognition.

What age level is this for? +

These kits are ideal for college students and early career learners.

What happens if I want to return my product? +

Products that are not damaged, defective, or incorrect must be returned within 14 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. To initiate a return email us at support@shortcct.com.
